beauty favorites of the week

I am a very loyal Bobbi Brown customer for most of my makeup, but also LOVE picking up goodies on my weekly grocery shopping trips. Especially nail polish. I like for my nails to be painted AT ALL TIMES. Here are my most recent finds:

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Lively Lilac. I love that it's different and a little funky, but still pretty. Most purple nail colors are dark purple, which I love for winter, or too pale lavender and look weird with my skin tone. I'm planning on wearing this color to my cousin's wedding this month (and yes I plan my nail color along with my outfits). I am in love with Insta-Dri! It has a wide, flat brush so it applies super-fast. I have several other colors of this nail polish, and most only need one coat! (plus a base and top coat of course)

I have been saving dessert recipes that I want to make someday. For example, when I'm not on a diet, am having guests, or for the holidays. Since I'm the only one in this house with a sweet tooth, it is just too dangerous!

Meet Gidget! Our very lovable, sweet, and sometimes insane French Bulldog. She enjoys peanut butter, string cheese, avocado, and sunbathing on the balcony.

We think she's the best thing ever.
